Renewable Heat Sources

What is Biomass?

Biomass is biological material derived from living, or recently living organisms. In the context of biomass for energy this is often used to mean plant based material, but biomass can equally apply to both animal and vegetable derived material.

Why Biomass?

The Renewable Heat Support Scheme has been announced and will come into force during 2018. The Support Scheme for Renewable Heat (SSRH) will operate on a operational support basis meaning the more energy you consume the more of a support you receive, unlike other similar schemes, there are terms and conditions to limit the over exploitation of the scheme.

SEAI are currently in the process of developing the detail of the scheme.

Benefits of Biomass:
Secure energy source – locally produced.
Cost competitive.
Carbon neutral.
Clean and effective.
Compatible with the objectives of the “Origin Green” programme.
Significant capital grants available to suitable clients.

Why TZC?

TZC will provide a complete solution for your biomass installation from design to commissioning and everything in between. We have invested heavily in researching the availability of fuel in Ireland and sourcing suitable equipment supply partners.
