The primary objectives of the GreenStart assignment included:
- Analyse existing data to determine current levels of consumption and emissions
- Identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption through behavioral/ operational change
- Identify opportunities through the introduction of new technologies
TZC developed a roadmap to carbon neutrality. In doing so, a register of opportunities with associated capital requirements and expected savings were developed and presented to the organisation.
The project delivered the required roadmap identifying: –
- Opportunities to reduce consumption through infrastructural upgrade
- Opportunities to reduce cost through the introduction of on-site electrical generation
- The requirement to improve their communication strategies (Website Etc)
